The community of Magobading, in Sekhukhune District Municipality of Limpopo Province are facing yet another toilet problem this is a result of the Mine making promises they can’t keep. They just wanted to get hold of our land. The community has been allocated typical latrine toilets, which the Mine promised to drain them every 6 months. But to date they haven’t done anything since 2015. Now the community with no experience on how to drain the toilets are left with no choice but to relieve themselves in the bush which is often difficult for the elderly and the disabled. The situation is getting worse by the day as now the toilets have become a home to disease caring worms. The community now feels neglected and exploited by the Mine.
