Women led organization of Waterberg(Waterberg Women Advocacy Organization) was launched at  Shongoane rural area  found in Lephalale at Limpopo .
Guest Speakers were:
Caroline Ntaopane from WOMIN
Nester Ndebele from WAMUA
Yvonne Sampear from GPOWF

Objectives
– Facilitate and support women to mobilize and organise themselves and strengthening their participation in community decision making process.
– Protect communities and the environment from exploitation of our natural resources
– Educate members of the community about their rights
– Empower community members to assess and conduct environmental clean ups and prevention of all forms of pollution
– Use our collective power as communities to change corporate and Government policies .
