Poor services at Cateme health Centre
In the past few days, the Community of Cateme in Moatize has registred the death of many children due to poor health care services at the local health centre. Yesterday, a father and mother took their ill son to the health centre for treatment. However, they were denied care by the head nurse.
In an attempt to save the child’s life, they decided to take him to Mualadze Hospital. The child ended up losing his life on its way. But this is not the first case of its kind. It is one of many cases.
On the 4th of this month, a seriously ill child accompanied by his father and some church members went to the hospital for help. The same nurse denied them treatment!
At the end of the day, the little child was seen by the nurse thanks to the intervention of the Vice Pastor of the Church, Mr. Bernardo, who called community leader to inform him that the nurse on duty is refusing to treat the child. The leader, in turn, called the nurse to ask her to see the child!
When facing similar cases, the users of this hospital prefer to travel to Mualadze in order to get a decent service. Fortunately, the child received proper treatment. He had anemia and received a blood transfusion at Moatize Hospital.
Graves problemas no Centro de Saúde em Cateme!
Nesses últimos dias atravessamos maus momentos no que diz respeito ao atendimento.
Muitas mortes das crianças ocorrem em Cateme por mau atendimento. Ontem, um pai carregando a sua criança acompanhado com esposa, foram ao hospital pedir socorro. Foi-lhes negado o atendimento pela enfermeira chefe.
Como tentativa de salvar a vida da criança, optaram por se deslocar ao Hospital de Mualadze. A criança acabou perdendo a vida a caminho do local. Este não e o primeiro caso do género. É um exemplo de muitos casos.
No dia 4 do corrente mês, uma criança gravemente doente, acompanhada pelo pai e alguns membros da Igreja foram no hospital pedir socorro. A mesma enfermeira negou atender-los!!
O seu atendimento foi graças ao Vice Pastor da Igreja Sr. Bernardo que ligou para Sr. Líder a lhe informar que a enfermeira está a recusar tratar a criança. O líder, por sua vez ligou para a enfermeira para atender a criança!
Como alternativa, os utentes deste hospital preferem deslocar-se para Mualadze por forma a obterem um atendimento condigno. Felizmente a criança recebu o devido tratamento. Tinha anemia e recebeu a transsfusão de sangue no Hospital de Moatize.
