“You need to be passionate about farming and getting dirty”, those are the words from Leah Tutetse based at Shongoane (Phase 1). The farmer who is motivated by her love of the land and farming, also mentions that increasing her knowledge was the main contributor to her success .Go to any school graduation and you can expect to hear the graduates being told to follow their dreams and find their passion. But is the passion for farming enough?

Challenges she sees as problematic are climate change and the marketing side, the best part of farming is producing food and providing job opportunities for others.
