Today in Mokopane ga Kgubudi.
Community members of Ga Kgubudi,ga Magongwa and Tshamahanzi says No to their ploughing field LAND without consultation. Ivanplats mine together with the so called head man and his young brother Malose Kekana who works at the mine,they took an amount of R300 000 from the mine to alaw the mine to take the community members’s ploughing field LAND and to build a storm water drain from the mine that passes through the other side of the ploughing field to Mogalakwena river.
As we community leaders negotiating with the mine.Advocate Thembeka Nxukakaitobi was called to be a mediator between us and the mine,he was in Mokopane today for the inspections of the two ploughing fields where we have manage to stop Ivanplats mine not to go
ahead with their activities. Tomorrow we will be at the mining for another inspections in the mine.

Follow up story of yesterday.
The inspections went on today in the Ivanplats mine yard. We found that Sam graves were relocated by the mine without the knowledge of members of their family. The Maruma’s graves. And there are still other own graves. We also talked to a disabled woman and other women who were forcefully relocated by the mine thru the help of head man’s younger brother Mr Malose Kekana who works in the mine.
