The Mine’s War against the People of Mantariana

The neglect  of the people whom are  perceived to be backward and rural  farm workers by the Shiva uranium company under Oakbay resources is an untold suffering. In the community of Mantariana, Klerksdorp area this mine is not employing even one person. The community has no water water while the mine has put a fence around  a water source.The community says this water is greenish in colour, so it’s polluted and of no use for human consumption. I saw it from a distance and entry was restricted. Like I reported before during blasting which happens close to the community, residents describes it as war against them by the mine. They never bother to question the mine. Worse  of all the children do not attend school and the people whom they vote for elsewhere during elections simply don’t come back.
