The tailings dump dams of Vlaakfontein Mines in Kwa-Thema Langaville claims a life of a seven year old boy, the boy and his friends went for a swim as the hot spring days has arrived and he drowned in the noon of a Saturday where zama-zamas heard screams of the unmonitored young boys in the field where they had to leave their work and jump to rescue the boy
