The Benchmarks Foundation’ Independent Grievance Mechanism Project is Gaining recognition and some big mining companies are already buying in to the Idea indirectly so.

The Twickenham and Der Brochen mines in The Greater Tubatse Fetakgomo municipality have launched their Organisational Grievance mechanism for communities to lay complaints or report incidents but still not design in a way that will ultimately resolve the issues raised. This process is published in their newly established monthly newspaper called Twickenham times and get distributed to communities. By Elton Thobejane
