Another Poor Municipality Service Delivery.

We the residents of Barberton (Mbombela municipality in the ) are concerned about the local public swimming pool in the area that experiences a heavy rush since its opening in Sept 1.
The area of Barberton has one public swimming pool and is situated in town.T he children from the location have to pay R20 for transport to the pool . The other pool at Cathyville has been closed for the last 10years.
Last week Sartuday the pool was full to the brim as children went to cool themselves at the pool. Many children whose parents cannot afford to pay for them are forced to swim in the streams and rivers and they are not safe. This was said by Richard Nkosi a resident. The spokesperson for the City of Mbombela couldnot be reached for comment .
