Solwezi community eat poisoned fish

On the 27/08/2017. The Fish from Kifuwa was poisoned by sulphuric acid. Due to lack of understanding of the effect of sulphuric acid on the human body. The community members rushed to catch the pick the dead fish for relish without understanding the problems the acid can bring on the body. And also limited resources on environmental protection the company whose truck poured the acid in the stream has gotten away with it. Mining communities require capacity building on litigation issues.

his happened in Kifubwa stream in Solwezi town of north western province of Zambia. The truck was headed for Kalumbila mine but overturned on 27/08/2017 on the Kifubwa River. Cause this ecological damage.
