Fifteen cattle die in Maotsi

It is heart breaking for the community of Maotsi. Twelve cattle died at Morapaneng on 19/10/2017 and again today 3 cattle where reported dead.
Farmers tried to report the matter to the government and mine but nothing came out of it.
We asked the University of Venda veterinary Students to assist us and they came as soon as we asked, They drove all the way more than 500 km to witness the death of our cattle.The SEJN (Sekhukhune Environmental Justice Network and the farmers appreciate their work They are always there when we need them
Unfortunately the government don’t pick up our calls even now.
