People in Diepkloof have many illnesses that are affecting them, they speak of eye, skin, respiratory, sinuses problems that they never had and other social and environmental problems that are affecting the community.  Many arrived in Mogase view without problems or sicknesses that they developed on their stay in Diepkloof

Residents are affected by both dust from the mine, water from the stream and when there is blasting taking place one can fill the house shaking from that blasting. As many areas that are affected residents have complains and councillors do nothing for residents when it comes to such issues. By Rapule Moiloa
