Twickenham mine CEF fight over inclusion of ward councillors

The situation at the Twickenham mine has gone worse resulting in to fight between two factions of the community engagement forum. The problem is that the mine representatives with the support of some representatives insists that the ward councillors should be part of the new structure while the majority of the community representatives does not want them included in the structure as per the mandate from their respective communities.

Today the public order police were called to restore order outside the premises where members of the communities have gathered demanding that ward councillors should not feature in anyway within the structure rather focus on service delivery issues. By Elton Thobejane
