Residents are frustrated with shack dwellings

Zamimpilo an informal settlement in Johannesburg. The ground of their shacks stays moist because of water flowing past their dwellings. The removable toilets are not too far from the dumping site where the children play daily, the stench is just unbearable. If they had jobs they would have a choice on where they lived. The children are sick because they play in the dirt the adults resort to doing the wrong things like stealing from nearby community, it’s not a safe place for any human being. By Dawn Anderson
