Marapong is a semi-urban area in Lephalale (Limpopo) that is next to the big projects like Matimba Power Station. Informal settlement called Baprika is situatednext to the fence and it inhales polluted air caused by the power plant every single day .

Air pollution is affecting the residents of Marapong especially at night as Matimba pollutes freely at night and it smells like rotten eggs.
