Today we attend the 1st public participation present by Naledzi Environmental Consultants for Transnet.

We so disappointed about the attendance of that meeting, as organizations and some of the community members we indicate to them that they must go back and come with another date we everyone will be available, especially community who will be affected by this railway project.

Transport  the coal from Exxaro coal mine and coming four junior mines that their license have been granted to mine in Lephalale, which is Boikarabelo mine, Sekhokho coal mine, Waterberg Coal mine and Khongkoni coal mine. All of that it’s because Lephalale is rich when coming coal and it’s a developing town and they also indicate that, this project of railway it we help Lephalale in terms of: uplifting community before the projects start, how i don’t know, Reduce Unemployment before the construction and after and make sure that community of Lephalale’ especially affected one will benefit from this project.
