UNEMPLOYMENT IN MOTLHABE

The high rate of unemployment at Motlhabe village is above fifty percent although the mine has to be here for more than ten years now. Many people leaving in this village depend on social grants. The poverty level is extremely beyond because social grants money is not enough to support families household. This social grants supposed to take care of a person who granted that money not to look after the whole Household families but the pensioners support their families with there social grants because the is no jobs and that money managed to put food on a table but nothing else. It’s very tough to many families well Pilanesberg platinum mine (PPM) came like a nightmare, taking our minerals makes them rich well our people become poorer and poorer because they do not employ our community.
