Transport – Six hours waiting for a taxi in the Lockdown

Yesterday I went to town around 09h00 knowing very well that taxis stops operating at 10h00 but I thought maybe they will transport us back as we are already around town they will allow the taxis to take us back.

Unfortunately that was my own thinking. I spent 6 hours chasing shadows around the rank. The sun was also hot, it was very bad. People started eating from their own groceries we were locked down really, I saw that the lockdown is a reality in our area police were also patrolling at the rank.

Around 15h50 a taxi was coming from the location to pick people from town back home having a load of passengers, police didn’t gave the driver a chance, they off loaded the passengers and escorted him with his kombi to the police station.
