South Africa has a backlog and demand for land and housing, we have new housing and new residential developments.
The country has law that requires that before any bushes can be cleared there should be environmental assessment in order that indigenous plants and endangered species and wildlife can be relocated.
There is a number of land occupation and destruction of wildlife and plantation.
There is a great need for activists not only to fight for land but also the ones that cannot protect nor speak for themselves…that is the wild animals outside game reserves, indigenous vegetation and endangered species…Let us also be Environmental activists.
