Covid – 19 and Unemployment

There’s one thing that I realized during the covid-19 it has shown us that South Africa is in poverty and most people are without jobs and most have never worked in their life. The question is if this is something that result from loss of jobs during Covid – 19 or this pandemic has revealed it.

I was shocked yesterday when seeing people at the post office at Burgersfort, all of them were fighting to get in to get their R350 – 00 Covid grants.

This situation has been there people are poor and have no jobs I wish the government can do something about it. And it is a lie if they can say this is the results of the pandemic people are poor and they have been poor. Covid-19 just recovery means the government need to deal with unemployment rate accordingly.
