As of July 17, the United Long Distance Taxi Services [ULDTS] have released price increment for long distance travellers. South Africans and public transport users will feel the effects deeply during this hard time of Covid 19 as unemployment rate is very high and life is going to be very difficult for all us.

Travellers will have to pay up to R20 more on the usual price, there seemed to be no need for taxi fare increase .Taxi association is somehow selfish by taking a decision to increase taxi fare in this time while the whole world is suffering from the Covid 19 pandemic.
