Kids returning to school – the problems they face

On the 26 August 2020 l went to Masebudi primary school to collect time table for other grades that they will start on the 1 of September.

What was so impressive is that they were keeping learner distance and sanitising them and the school was clean, seeing that they were prepared. They were registering all learners very well and they kids they were happy that there are coming to school after such a long time due to pandemic.

I interviewed one of the teachers, she says that some children are forgetting what they learned, they seem that they were not having time to go and study at home. They find it hard for them to study. Some they don’t catch that fast. She even encouraged parents to teach them at home because now they are trying so hard to help them.
