The president addressed the nation yesterday amid the rise of new cases. In his address indicated the lack of social distancing and super spreader events which are attributes to high cases recorded. In Phokeng Pubs lowered measures to protocol soon as they were allowed to open. Most pubs that are famous for good vibe have been full to capacity. In December the movement of  revelers was high that it was as if the country was never on lockdown.

A day before the president address, people dismissed covid as a hoax most insisting the virus does not exist. There were no masks at all even mangers walked freely with no shield or masks. It is not only revelers who are reckless but owners as well for not complying and closing past curfew time or closing when law enforcement officials are approaching.
