It’s so sad to see how the government doesn’t care about its constituency especially the vulnerable and needy ones who wake everyday morning to make the ends of tabling food to his or her family at the end of the day.

The waste reclaimers lives are in danger because they are exposed to an airborne pandemic as they pick waste with hands with no gloves and PPE thus far. And they pick waste without PPE and the waste that tends to be contaminated with covid 19 toxics since well it’s airborne. It’s time the RSA government start to recognise the waste reclaimers as they are the ones cleaning our streets by picking reusable waste.
