Water is still a problem in other parts of ward13, Makhuduthamaga 

Water is a basic need but some of the people in our communities are still struggling to access clean water. Semene river is at Ga-Mogashoa village and Mabonyane but people from Mashengwaneng had to push wheelbarrows to fetch water from the river or wash clothes and blankets. I passed an eldery woman and her daughter with little girl at Semene river washing clothes. I was surprised because Mashengwaneng have Jojo tanks in the streets. The daughter sadly told me that the Jojo tanks are not working and it has been 5 years now while water is pumped from Mashengwaneng to other areas. It is not the first time that I see someone from that area because one day I saw a young boy who told me that he is from Mashengwaneng. From Mashengwaneng to Semene river is not a 10 minutes walk, just imagine pushing a wheelbarrow.
