Há necessidade de reassentamento nas quatro comunidades mais afectadas pela mineradora em Moatize
As determinações da mina Moatize 2 e secção 6 da empresa vale desde 2018 até hoje 22 de Junho 2021 já desabaram mais de 25 casas nas comunidades Nhatchere , Bagamoio e Liberdade.
Para verter este cenário, criou se uma comissão de rachas no princípio deste ano, e uma das coisas que a comissão fez, foi escrever uma carta no dia 30 Março 2021 para a secretária do Estado da Província de Tete com o conhecimento do governo provincial de Tete, Assembleia Provincial de Tete, Governo do Distrito de Moatize e Conselho Municipal da cidade de Moatize.
Como resposta, a secretária do Estado da província de tete falou para o governo provincial criar uma comissão conjunta para confirmação das casas de rachas e desabadas em Moatize. E a comissão já visitou as comunidades de Nhatchere e Bagamoio, na verdade constataram muitas casas caídas com vibrações de terra.
Os que faziam parte da comissão: um técnico de reassentamento do governo provincial, um técnico de assuntos sociais de conselho municipal da cidade de Moatize, dois técnicos provinciais de terra e ambiente, e por último esteve também um técnico dos assuntos sociais do governo distrital de Moatize.
Da parte das estruturas do bairro, esteve o secretário do bairro Nhatchere e o vice secretário do bairro Bagamoio. Do lado da comissão dos afetados, esteve o Tomo João Tomo, Antônio Sempule Sinalo, Sr Maxciwel, Cedinho e Sprique.
De lá pra cá já passam um mês que a comissão aguarda pela resposta. O lado da empresa vale continua a poluir, danificar as residências, como se em Moçambique não existissem leis para arbitrar no sector de Minas no país.
There is a need for resettlement in the four communities most affected by the mining company in Moatize.

In response, the secretary of state for the province of tete told the provincial government to create a joint commission to confirm the houses of cracks and collapses in Moatize. And the commission has already visited the communities of Nhatchere and Bagamoio, in fact they found many houses that had fallen to earth vibrations.
Those who were part of the commission: a resettlement technician from the provincial government, a social affairs technician from the municipal council of the city of Moatize, two provincial land and environment technicians, and lastly there was also a social affairs technician from the district government of Moatize.
On the part of the neighborhood structures, there were the secretary of the Nhatchere neighborhood and the vice secretary of the Bagamoio neighborhood. On the side of the committee of those affected were Tomo João Tomo, Antônio Sempule Sinalo, Mr Maxciwel, Cedinho and Sprique.
Since then, it’s been a month since the committee has been waiting for a response. The company’s side continues to pollute, damage homes, as if in Mozambique there were no laws to arbitrate in the mining sector in the country.
