In out community it’s as if Covid-19 doesn’t exist anymore. There is no order or monitoring and people are also careless with their lives. Social distancing is not practiced, Grave diggers always get staffed in a van with no social distancing. Last year during first lockdown in March cops were doing their jobs excellently. After a funeral is reported they used to come and patrol, check if mourners are only 50 and other Covid-19 regulations are being adhered to but that is not happening anymore that’s why people often get sick after attending funerals some even die.
It affects everyone in the community even us Activists. I often give my support to grieving families but I also go there to remind the people that Covid-19 still exist and I make sure that hands are washed I’m a proper way because others use one bucket for everyone to wash their hands on and this is totally wrong. People could get reinfected. Some don’t use attendance registers and those are the things that I make sure that they are being followed and taken into consideration.
