Tem sido muito difícil apanhar um chapa nas primeiras horas da manhã, na cidade de Tete. Os transportadores tem a mania de não chegar no terminal, parando no centro de saúde em Matundo.
As pessoas, ficam horas e horas a espera do chapa que irá até o terminal mas nunca aparece, e porque é difícil acabam subindo nos chapas que param no Matundo, para poderem fazer ligações.
Os chapeiros, depois de descarregar os passageiros pelo caminho, carregam pessoas na mesma paragem para o terminal. Os cobradores, fazem isso com o objectivo de exigir o dobro do valor, ou para encher duas vezes o carro numa única viagem, já que no meio de percurso há muita gente a espera do chapa. Aparentemente, isso acontece devido a redução do número de passageiros, de 4 pessoas para 3 em cada banco.
As autoridades municipais tem conhecimento e poucas vezes atuam, e os infratores ganham espaco, contribuindo negativamente para os utentes da via.
