SLP demand

There is a group of community members at Madadeni in Mpumalanga that approached me and told me that I must join hands with them on pushing the demand for SLP from Nkomati Anthracite mine. They have written a letter to the mine demanding a meeting, scheduled on 24 August 2021, the min has been operating for more than 7 years and never done or reported on SLP. The group is mobilizing to demand reports and way forward on the SLP.
The community was lacking the information on NEMA, after several engagements with them trying to let them understand that employment doesn’t fall in SLP.
