Encontro entre a comunidade de Mualadzi e a empresa ICVL
Aconteceu hoje dia 13 de Julho de 2021, em Mualadzi, no posto administrativo de Cambulatsitsi, no Distrito de Moatize, na Província de Tete, um encontro entre a comunidade de Mualadzi e a empresa ICVL.
Tinha como agenda a situação do escritório da Associação dos Camponeses de Capanga durante o processo de reassentamento da comunidade de Capanga para Mualadzi, onde a referida associação recebeu um valor de cerca de 22.000.000,00MT como compensação de perda de terras e benfeitorias.
Mais volvidos 8 anos, a associação está a reivindicar a construção do escritório, facto este refutado pela comunidade porque existem documentos que provam que esta associação de Camponeses de Capanga não está mais a receber os representantes da empresa ICVL. Disseram que se a comunidade não aceitar deve fazer um documento e com as devidas assinaturas, e depois entregar a empresa.
Depois de analisar os representantes da comunidade, disseram que não iriam remeter novamente outro documento de reivindicação porque já tinha recebido a resposta da empresa que foi que a associação integral dos camponeses de Capanga já tinha recebido tudo que tinha direito durante o processo de Reassentamento, e perante a insistência da empresa ICVL para obtenção das assinaturas, a comunidade estranhou e recusou redondamente assinar porque não sabiam para que fins a empresa precisava.
Um dos participantes falou que aqui em Mualadzi, tinha muitos problemas como a estrada, o abastecimento de água não seria bom, que a empresa restaure estes bens sociais do que insistir em apoiar um grupinho de pessoas. E continuou dizendo que a empresa abandonou a comunidade e pediu que houvesse encontros tripartite entre o governo, empresa e a comunidade, para solucionar as inquietações da comunidade.
Estavam presentes no referido encontro, a empresa ICVL, líderes comunitários, o comitê de gestão de recursos naturais de Mualadzi, pessoas influentes na comunidade.
O encontro realizou-se nos estaleiros da empresa no pavilhão de reuniões.
O sr. Adolfo, em representação da empresa, agradeceu a todos presentes e as sugestões e reclamações da comunidade serão canalizadas as estruturas competentes para que sejam solucionadas o mais breve possível.
Meeting between the community of Mualadzi and the ICVL company
Today, 13 July 2021, in Mualadzi, at the administrative post of Cambulatsitsi, in the District of Moatize, in the Province of Tete, a meeting took place between the community of Mualadzi and the ICVL company.
Its agenda was the situation of the office of the Association of Peasants of Capanga during the process of resettlement of the Capanga community to Mualadzi, where the referred association received an amount of about 22,000,000.00MT as compensation for the loss of land and improvements.
Eight years later, the association is demanding the construction of the office, a fact that is refuted by the community because there are documents that prove that this association of Peasants of Capanga is no longer receiving representatives of the ICVL company. They said that if the community does not accept it, it must make a document with the proper signatures, and then deliver it to the company.
After analyzing the community representatives, they said that they would not send another claim document again because they had already received the response from the company that the full association of Capanga peasants had already received everything they were entitled to during the Resettlement process, and faced with the insistence of the ICVL company to obtain the signatures, the community was surprised and flatly refused to sign because they did not know for what purposes the company needed it.
One of the participants said that here in Mualadzi, there were many problems such as the road, the water supply would not be good, that the company should restore these social assets rather than insisting on supporting a small group of people. He went on to say that the company abandoned the community and asked for tripartite meetings between the government, the company and the community to resolve the concerns of the community.
The ICVL company, community leaders, Mualadzi’s natural resources management committee, influential people in the community were present at the meeting.
The meeting took place at the company’s shipyards in the meeting hall.
Mr. Adolfo, representing the company, thanked everyone present and the community’s suggestions and complaints will be channeled to the competent structures so that they can be resolved as soon as possible.
