As a Nation we are observing and experiencing a high rate of unemployment. We also know that it’s a national crisis 😔but there are those who enjoys the suffering of our own people.
In lephalale municipality were fair recruitment process for locals communities from traditional authorities,
labour department and eskom information centres. Things changed when the current Mayor placed In to power eight ( 08 ) years ago.
We thought the recruitment will be more than fair because local government is going to observe. Poor communities suffer the consequences of dictatorship and capturing of the recruitment in public and private sectors by the mayor. People must affiliate to a certain political party before they can be hired 😔 people must attend night meetings and praise him, people must fight those who disagree or have different views with him. The recruitment is now in his hands and he is feeding his own populists. The campaign is started weeks ago where some of our communities are saying enough is enough… We want the recruitment process back to labour department and traditional authorities.
It’s very important to have people or neutral Structures Who volunteer to advise local governments. Sometimes political leaders want to be recognised as stake holders ( people who can put foods on your table ) by punishing one of our own. Politicians mistreating other people because of their political affiliations. The are using service deliveries for their political scores.
As youthful leaders let’s get in vacuums and claims our participation and lead. I am also saying” the old must die and youthful must lead ” not saying people must die but referring to old poor strategies of dealing with things incorrectly. We must fair everything ✊ Let’s fight Nepotism and Dictatorship to mention few. Let’s do away with stomach politics and being captured.
