Visita dos membros da assembleia provincial a comunidade de Cateme
Membros da assembleia provincial pela bancada do partido no poder, visitou a comunidade de Cateme, com objectivo de monitorar os problemas da Comunidade.
Anos atrás estes visitaram esta comunidade, onde os presentes colocaram as suas inquietações a estes membros. Falaram da insuficiência no abastecimento de água, machambas, transportes e outras preocupações.
Estes vinham ver se alguma coisa já havia mudado na comunidade. Os presentes responderam que tudo continua na mesma situação, não há mudança.
O Chefe da brigada afirma que falou desses problemas, e a empresa por sua vez alega que não tem nenhum acordo sobre o assunto, foi simplesmente uma promessa bucal, particularmente no que concerne a distribuição do gado bovino.
Em Cateme a cada dia que nasce, temos problemas de ruptura de tubos de conduta do precioso líquido. Como podemos ver na imagem, a água passa pelos quintais. Quando isso acontece a comunidade fica sem água.
É uma situação pela qual a própria empresa Vale tem o conhecimento. A Vale vem pedir desculpas à comunidade de Cateme pela ruptura de tubos de água. Isso é repetido várias vezes mas a situação não muda, permanecemos com problemas de água e com as ditas desculpas.
Fizeram parte deste encontro, chefe do posto, chefe da localidade, líderes comunitários, o comitê de gestão e outros convidados.
O encontro teve lugar no posto administrativo de Cambulatsisse, Distrito de Moatize, povoado de Cateme.

It is a situation that the Vale company itself is aware of. Vale apologizes to the community of Cateme for the rupture of water pipes. This is repeated several times but the situation does not change, we remain with water problems and the so-called excuses.
