Just energy transition dialogues.

We had dialogues about a just energy transition with different communities around Emalahleni that was to hear what does it mean for them and how does they think a just energy transition will look like for them.

 

It seems that communities are still trying to figure it out as they don’t even understand what is really means that we need a just energy transition. Although they do understand that we are having a big problem from the current energy that we are using as it is expensive and the loadshedding we are really having a crisis, it also brings a question to community that how is it going to be a fair change if we don’t understand as yet because once the government take a lead they don’t believe it will be fair for communities.

The big question is still on hold, How are we going to make it just / fair to our communities and get involved on policy and decision making on a just energy transition
