The residents of Snake Park are furious because of the tailing mine dump. They have complained about the issue many times to the councilor and the municipality, but still their issues are being ignored. People are getting sick every day because of the toxic chemicals from the tailing dust, many suffer from skin diseases like eczema, and others have chronic diseases like asthma, lung cancer, and TB.

The tailing dust spreads in the township when they are strong winds and also some people play with motorbikes in the tailing and this also spreads the dust. The tailing is a serious problem that the government needs to make a number one priority before it kills all the people living in Snake Park. They must restore the pipes that were stolen to control the dust, and they must employ community residents to guard the tailing dump
