A new development at the place called Empumelelweni there’s a project that is taking place to install sewer pipes and pipes for water in the area.

 

All this activity it takes place at Empumelelweni area.

 

It’s started 3years back they are working everyday except when it’s raining.

 

Community of Empumelelweni they are affected especially young people because it’s where they play Soccer, it’s a sport field that supposed to be protected not being demolished by Contractor.

 

When they load top soil mixed with stones they didn’t have a place to store that top soil, and they decided to store it inside the sport ground, those tipper trucks they just offload on top of those palisades that’s where they get demolished now the are open spaces at the sport field.

 

The Contractor should fix the mess they created make sure that they install new palisades before they leave, we don’t know why Municipality they are so quite about the problem.

 

We as Community we will make sure that the Contractor fix the damage they have cost, because they are aware of this.
