Captain Thulare Park is an informal settlement in Marapong at Lephalale. The purpose of the meeting Exxaro is demanding to know how many shacks are in the Settlement for them to upgrade the place .It is the land taken from Exxaro by Mr Manamela who fought for the community because Lephalale Municipality doesn’t have land .

Municipality have appointment the contractor who start with fencing to control people entering the place, head counting and verification will be done by municipality. Community raised their concerns about people who come from far who will work with the contractor. High rate of unemployment is a challenge in Lephalale. By Francina Nkosi
