SHOCKING BLOODY MURDER OF ARTISENAL MINER BY ZCDC SECURITY.

No ceasefire to human rights violations and killings in the diamond fields despite the call from different CBOs and human rights defenders to stop these barbaric acts. Human life is not respected and its taken for granted by zcdc security guards.

The community of Chiadzwa is again left in deep sorrow after the bloody murder of an artisenal miner Albeit Gasi, aged 33 who comes from Domboshava in Jingo area. Albert died after his throat was torn apart by zcdc security dogs the night of Saturday the 18th of August 2018 around 11pm. As narrated by the deceased’s young brother ,Brian Gasi they were caught in the diamond fields while in search of the precious stones with other friends. The overzealous security guards unleashed their vicious dogs on innocent artisenal miners trying to earn a living. Brian said he escaped narrowly by hiding himself in a muddy dam from 11pm till 3am the next day when he managed to sneak out of the fields.

The body of the deceased was transported to Nyanyadzi hospital by zcdc ambulance ,where again it was ferried to Mutambara hospital mortuary. The bereaved family are striving to make ends meet, so as to bury their loved one. The family is financially unstable thereby calling for well wishers to assist
