No service delivery-No waste collection

The residents of Soweto are not happy. The pickup trucks don’t show up to collect the bins. The townships are smelling because there is rubbish in every corner even next to schools and clinics.

The residents are blaming the mayor for stopping the Jozi@work and came up with Arisebetseng, that is why the streets are so dirty. Others are saying that is better that the jozi@work employees are now pick it up employees, which means that they are now receiving a better salary. But still, it makes no difference because the Streets of Soweto and Johannesburg are dirty. By Thokozile Mntambo
