A lady I interviewed this past Wednesday who is a neighbor of the clinic of Motlhabe who asked to remain anonymous told me a very sad story that happened to her on Monday the nineteenth of November. Since the clinic of Motlhabe does not provide with maternity services its hard for women who are about to give birth.

On Monday she gave birth at her home after being returned from the clinic during the day when the nurses told her that they do not provide with such service anymore, she only lives with her granny and her other two young children she was told to hire a car to take her to the hospital and she couldn’t afford to pay over R2000.00 and decided to go home and do it her self, luckily other neighbors understood her situation and helped her give birth at home. The story of this lady was presented to the North West Provincial Legislature this past Wednesday in Motlhabe. By Lentswe Buda
