Food parcels re-registration by government officials

On the 26th May Ikemeleng community had it’s second food parcel registration by social development officials. This because the previous registration was done by political organizations within the community and didn’t go so well.

People were happy to be re-register as they have hope to get food from government as there was no favouritism or discrimination in the process.

The distance between the people on the queue was accurate and social worker were very supportive. There were two queues one for South African citizens and one for non-citizens. We hope best result will come out of the process as it was departmental official rolling out the registration.
