Politicians Use Food Parcels to win support for upcoming elections

Poor voters are at the mercy of political parties who have found an opportune moment to campaign for the upcoming local municipal elections, which will be held next year.
Councillors and other local party leaders of the ANC were seen moving around in the name of Covid 19 food parcel for the needy.
The objective however to play demi-god portraying themselves as the solution for food crisis.
Many who fancies themselves as incoming councillors have joined in the race to get support by coming across as caring for the needy.
Capitalism as it were has placed many workers at the mercy of the political elites.
Those who have money have used the period as lifestyle brag. Social media is abuzz with pictures of the so called philanthropy gestures.
