SGB and the school staff at Moshupja higher primary school decided to implement the decision of the Minister of Basic Education Angie Motshega in allowing learners/pupil to attend classes in full capacity.

The school have been provided with all necessary PPE to curb the spread of the virus and temporary classes were also provided to the school to ensure that there is enough space in the classrooms, The Principal stated that “before they could be provided with temporary classrooms each

class had more 70 learners/pupils, so the temporary classrooms came in handy now the number is divided by two were each class can only occupy 40 to 45 leaners/pupils in each classroom, and that since pupils are now attending everyday their challenge now is shortage of teachers or students assistance and she is also happy that all the staff in the school got vaccinated including the staff that  prepares food for the pupils and also cleaners”

And when I checked around, learners were complying with the regulations of Covid-19 and they were wearing musks and in front of each classroom there is a container with soap water were learners were washing their hands when they get in the classes and when they leaving the glass.

During the break time the two students assistance were disinfecting tables and

chairs of the learners/pupils with sanitizer and a cloth.
