R102 leading out of Rustenburg town passes through Tlhabane township it is the route for BRT system.

The street lights on the road has recently been vandalised and the cable been stolen and the rise in cable theft in our country is also felt in Rustenburg, This  destruction of public infrastructure I witnessed in Tlhabane township. The houses near the road are facing the opposite to the road which makes it easier for the criminals to do this act.

There’s a need for law enforcement patrols and visibility and monitoring of scrap metal industries to help curb the criminal elements.
