The mines that were busy extracting coal near our community has left big mountains as they left without saying goodbye for they did not consult when comming to do mining.

This happened in Vosman as the law enforcement went to enforce the law by demanding mining rights and licences the mine workers together with the owners just flee away .

This was a result of several complains by the communities for the mines were blasting more than 5 times a day as they are many in a row.

This affected everyone and everything at Vosman including the nature. People in the community are sick and overcrowded as some come from different places in search of job opportunities. This leads to criminality for the job is no more .

After numerous complains by community of Vosman to the mines we ended up going straight to Department of Minerals Resource and Energy (DMRE) to raise our concerns fortunately they listened to us and took a step to enforce the law.

The law enforcement have taken the machinery that were left unattended and put to the place that is watched 24/7 .

To put police in the mines abandoned for the Zamazamas have taken advantage of the situation they are now busy digging without machines so they have to be chased away or arrested.
