Caring negative impacts as an Ex-Miner.

 

#UNEMPLOYMENT

 

Mr Skhosana a father of 5 children a husband that has been affected as an Ex-miner who was working at the coal mine over the past 20 years under different Contractors. He is currently unemployed since the coal mine he was working under was closed.

It happened at Mpumalanga under Emalahleni Local Municipality at Vosman location KwaGuqa area.

Mr Skhosana is no more able to provide for his family since his out of job and at his age it’s very difficult to get a job, as coal mines are closing down and being a coal miner it’s the only job that he knows.

He is the most affected party in his believe that a Man is a provider and it’s stressing him that he can’t provide for his family anymore, and there’s no hope that he will be able to get a job at his age.

Now he is depending on Government Grant of which it’s not enough that was his own words, this grant money it’s only for me to buy food and pay services and buy electricity and it’s finished.

For now, I’m depending on Government Grant its only income I have, and there’s no hope that I will be able to get a job in my condition.

 

Since Coal mines are closing down and it’s the only job I know it means I have to start a business, and i believe that is another way to help me to provide for my family.
