Cost of medication

#IMPILOKUCALA

The inflation of things has had a bad impact on those who buy medication because it’s essential for them to have the medication to survive here in Emalahleni because of the pollution happening around.
This is happening in the Mpumalanga Province under Emalahleni Local Municipality where the mining operations is surrounding the local residents.

Most of the community members suffer from respiratory because of the mining operations happening around their dwellings .

Having to live in Emalahleni means that you must also prioritize and have a specific budget for your health because not much help is given to local clinics in terms of getting medication or medical attention when needed. You have to pay or buy yourself medication that you didn’t get at the local clinic this is costly to the community members as they’re unemployed.

Proper medical infrastructure is not given to the community members by the polluters by that the polluters must make means of giving back to the community by improving local clinics infrastructure as well as medical attention that is up to standard for those who are suffering from respiratory diseases.
