The plant at Nkomazi anthracite mine is causing problems during rainy days and sunny or windy days.

This is happening in the Mpumalanga Lowveld Region under Nkomazi Local Municipality at Nkomazi anthracite mine coal processing plant.

This is happening in the rainy days sunny and windy days as the results of the fact that the coal processing plant is not been roofed or being covered on the sides.

The workers from the coal processing plant are the most affected as they are directly exposed to the impacts of the situation in place. It is sad that most workers are from contractor’s and have no medical aid.

The modern style of coal processing plant is designed to be unroofed and uncovered on the side’s but it imposes a negative impact on the people’s health and their livelihood back home as it is not far from the community.

The mines are supposed to do medical check-up not only to the workers but also to communities at large.

The community members are supposed to be united and stand firm in fighting for their health and their well-being by reporting every violation of their rights either to Nkomazi anthracite mine or the Department of Minerals Resource and Energy
