Law finally enforced

After many years of trying to stop the illegal mining that is happening around our locations, it come to pass that the Department of Minerals Resource and Energy (DEMRE) together with law enforcement decided to take a stand and do the right thing of stopping the illegal mines.

The surrounding locations at Ezinambeni and the whole kwaGuqa are surrounded by mines of which some are not known by The Department of Minerals Resource and Energy but are producing coal and causing pollution.

This is happening as a result of the abundant mines and lack of enforcement by the DEMRE together with our Municipality at the Highveld region.

Everybody staying in the Highveld region is affected even though some are unaware because whenever they get sick they think it’s bloodline related not knowing is the result of miming.

Most children dont attend schools during the winter because of asthmatic attacks which became a burden to poor unemployed parents who rely on grants from the government that doesn’t fulfilled the family needs.

To some families when the grant is received it passes to shark loans and be left with nothing to fed the family as a results of the sick children.

The law enforcement just took to the mines and took every machines at the mines used for the operation of mining to the police station.

As the machines being taken everyone who will avail themselves as owners of the machines must be sent to jail for the operators of the machines decided to run away when they heard the law enforcers were coming for them.
