#EPILEPSY

 

A lady by the name Rhandzo Nkuna was born in Bushbuckridge and brought to Emalahleni as his father is working in Glencore mine.

This happened in the Mpumalanga Province of the Highveld under Emalahleni Local Municipality where mining operations and industries are polluting day and night.

During the night especially in the winter season it becomes to bad for the little Rhandzo who is epileptic and struggling to breath due to the operations that goes on every day.

Rhandzo is the most affected child cause being epileptic means that she had to be safe guarded at all time. Her mother has decided to quit her job to look out for the 5 years old baby.

It happened few months after arriving in Emalahleni, at first we thought she was afraid of the blasting but we then realized that it needs the Doctors attention said Rhandzo mother.

The doctor told us to relocate but unfortunately the house we were staying was already sold out.

I am still in negotiations with my husband about buying or building a house anywhere outside mining to save the life of our child.
