As we are the community living atEmalahleni we are affected a lot by mines that are in our door steps.
During the extraction of coal at the mines Air pollution just come straight to the communities. What is very painful is that this mines are illegal.

They use big trucks and that big trucks came to the community to cause more air pollution as we have only dust roads in our community and our community the roads are not meant for trucks but for small car’s.
Every day it makes lot of dust we can’t even open windows because when we open lot of dust came through inside the house.

We even breath dust and that dust is not good when you sneezing you see black dust because of mines that surrounding the community together with the trucks that come to the community.

These trucks damage our road it creates lot of potholes and this becomes a burden to the municipality to make sure they fix the potholes.

Many roads have potholes caused by trucks which come to our place uninvited and unwanted.
Trucks must stop coming to the community so that our road will stay clear and free from potholes and the community to be able to clean their houses.
Only the law enforcement can solve this problem by demanding mine licences and stop all the illegal mines.
